Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled hiring coordinator with 3+ years of experience who will play a crucial role in the recruitment and hiring process of our company. Responsible for coordinating and facilitating the various stages of the hiring process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and post job advertisements on various job boards, company websites, and social media platforms, ensuring accurate and compelling content.
- Review incoming resumes and applications, assessing candidates' qualifications and suitability for the position.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring all necessary parties are available and informed.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, background checks, and orientation.
- Generate reports on hiring metrics, such as time-to-fill, candidate sources, and interview feedback, to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) guidelines.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is often preferred but not always required.
- Prior 2+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination is desirable. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities are necessary to coordinate multiple interviews, manage candidate information, and meet deadlines.
- The ability to carefully review resumes, applications, and other candidate documents is crucial for accurate screening and selection.
- Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity are vital in this role.
- The capacity to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues, and work effectively as part of a team is important.
