Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in business law and possess strong legal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and advice on business transactions, contracts, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of business contracts and agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as negotiations and settlements.
- Advise on corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on changes in business and legal regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Lawyer or in a similar legal role. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated consistency of at least 2+ years in previous job positions with a strong legal track record.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership.
- In-depth knowledge of business law, contracts, and corporate governance.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide strategic legal advice and risk assessment.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in the US Central Time Zone.
